RAB is now accepting applications for scholarships to attend the acclaimed 11th annual Rising Through the Ranks women’s management sessions! This two-day training seminar, dedicated to the support and advancement of women in radio management, will be held August 15-16, 2018 at the BMI Offices in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), BMI and Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW) has designed these sessions specifically for new managers and senior sellers considering a future in radio management. The seminar focuses on essential sales management techniques encompassing leadership skill sets from building your personal brand, budgeting and forecasting, navigating difficult conversations, managing a spectrum of varied personalities, to recruiting, hiring, and firing.

Once again, BMI is pleased to provide 20 scholarships for this year’s program. These coveted scholarships cover the tuition for the Rising Through the Ranks course and course collateral. Travel and hotel expenses are not included.

  • The Role of Today’s Radio Manager
  • Managing Up…and Down
  • Recruiting, Hiring & Firing
  • Having Difficult Conversations
  • Budgeting, Forecasting and P&L
  • Managing By Personality Type
